Daniella Levy-Pinto is the Coordinator for Accessibility Testing with NNELS. She has extensive experience with reading materials in alternate formats, and knowledge of assistive technologies. Daniella leads NNELS’ team of seven testers, who assess the accessibility of both EPUB files and mainstream reading library applications. Outside of the digital space, Daniella works to improve accessibility of public spaces. She sits on the Steering Committee of Walk Toronto - a grassroots pedestrian advocacy group that works with various levels of government, community groups and citizens to improve walking conditions and safety in Toronto.  She advocates for pedestrian safety and accessible streets. Daniella holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a MA in International Relations from the University of California, San Diego. Some of her previous roles include Senior Policy Analyst at the Council of Ontario Universities, and Policy Advisor to the Mexican Minister of International Relations.
